What is hypnosis?
Hypnosis can be defined as a state of focused attention that bypasses the critical conscious mind, in order to reach the subconscious mind. The subconscious mind contains all of your memories of and all of your life experiences. The subconscious mind is the part of you that holds the key to your beliefs, expectations, attitudes, emotions, and in turn, behavior.
Why use hypnosis?
Certified hypnotists use their skills to guide their clients to achieve their goals and improve their quality of life by helping them access the information stored in their subconscious minds. By accessing this knowledge, one can eliminate phobias, reduce stress and get relief from many limitations they have unknowingly placed upon themselves. In addition, the key to many of our physical and emotional discomforts lies in our subconscious minds.
Hypnosis is a tool that has been used for hundreds of years by medical professionals to treat patients for everything from anxiety to inflammatory bowel disease. Hypnosis is not a mystical power one has over a person. It has often been the only successful treatment for many people who have tried other therapies without success. Since our beliefs and perceptions become our reality, we create limits for ourselves that prevent us from reaching our full potential in our lives. Sometimes those limits are felt in physical and emotional symptoms that have no apparent cause. Hypnosis can often provide relief when nothing else has worked. You can achieve healing through hypnosis! The benefits of hypnosis are endless. It can be used to improve the quality of life in more ways than can be enumerated here.

All hypnosis is self hypnosis! Most of us don't realize that those thoughts or beliefs we hold so dear are forms of self hypnosis. A good example of this is looking in the mirror and saying to yourself "you are so fat"...Your subconscious mind, which does not know the difference between real or imagined, believes you are fat! Repeat this everyday and you eat like a fat person, feel like a fat person and become, or continue to be, a fat person. Your subconscious mind does what it is told repeatedly. If you looked in the same mirror and said to yourself "you are beautiful/ handsome and a wonderful person and I love and accept you completely", after a while you would begin to feel wonderful. The focus on food and being fat would be transformed into a positive feeling unrelated to food and you will find yourself eating normally and losing weight. With repeated self hypnosis you can accomplish endless goals and improve your quality of life.
When you come for hypnosis you will learn how to do self hypnosis for continued success long after the sessions have ended.
